So I went to the barber yesterday and finally tried Felipe & Sons. One of the best decisions I've made this year, so far.

A man-cave

A barber shop, haberdashery, quasi sneaker store, a man-cave. Finally I was able to get my ass on one of those chairs and experience the Php 280.00 haircut. Yup, Php 280.00 + tip. Why am I paying that much amount when I can have the same haircut with my trusted barber, Kuya Dario of Newsbarbers in SM Hypermart Pasig at a much affordable price? Or even Php 50.00 haircut at the local market? It's the whole experience and service that none of the mentioned above can offer. You just have to try it for yourself.

I gotta say, it is indeed one of the best experience I had when it comes to haircut. Worth every peso! I'd definitely go back. Every guy should spend on their looks as well, not just the ladies. Thanks to my wife for the push and Kuya Julius for the side part! Sorry Kuya Dario.

Christmas came, we opened our gifts, I was the happiest in the room! I'd like to thank my wife for putting up with my vice, my sickness, my poison (call it whatever but it's better than alcohol or cigarettes right?). I know I'm going overboard with my collection. It wasn't my decision but my wife's ultimatum so I'm narrowing down to 4 pairs. 4 well thought of sneakers left for 2015. I got one in mind and I'll talk about it real soon. For now, I'm just gonna enjoy my 4th pair of NBs. I'm good for now.

A fellow industrial designer, an aspiring footwear designer, a sneaker enthusiast. Talented and creative, indeed.

I met him thru social media by sharing thoughts about sneakers, design and street culture. Looking at his concepts on instagram, this guy deserves a seat at Nike, adidas, New Balance or wherever he wants to be. I consider him blessed for having the talent and putting it in full use. 

I have my fair share of sneaker sketches but they don't compare to his. His sketches are exquisite and you will definitely see the passion and drive in every stroke. 

I salute you my friend, keep it up and I wish you all the best! I hope we can collaborate someday.

Ok, let's talk about something else, shall we?

Here is something that I want to share to all of you. Sunglasses isn't just Oakley or Ray-Ban, THERE ARE A LOT OF BRANDS TO CHOOSE FROM!

One of which is the Kaptain Sunshine. Yes, it may look like the Ray-Ban Wayfarer but the tortoise shell and the folding details got me in a snap. I don't hate, I just want something different. Just pop on your piques, summer shorts and Tretorns, you're ready to go!

What did I say about starting the New Year right? Yup, this is how I did it!

Everybody else in the world would say "Look what came in the mail today" or "Look what just Santa delivered", mine would be, "Fresh from the Balikbayan box!"

I got 2 awesome sneakers last 2014 Christmas but due to unforeseen circumstances, the Balikbayan box came 3 days after!!! We're still thankful that it arrived and safe from greedy monkeys and crocodiles.

The Element Refine Tricot is really super comfy based from what I've heard. I never really expected this pair as a gift from my sister and brother-in-law, it was the only colorway that I prefer! The SL Loop is indeed a favorite and in just 1 day, it got 24 likes in my instagram account. Hey, from a non-famous instagrammer, 24 likes is something to be proud and happy about.

If you want comfort, Tricot is for you. If you to stand out, go for the SL Loop.

Though, I'm cutting down on pairs for 2015, I'm definitely sticking to the classics. Like what I've said before, I can't keep up with the game. I'll just keep it classic.

Happy New Year everyone! What a holiday vacation it was. I have a lot to post and here's something to get things rolling.

Seeing this post on instagram woke me up today. This is awesome! I'm not afraid of the color pink and the floral print. Just look at it, it's gorgeous!
